Rodrigo Salvado is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international development finance and operational partnerships. Currently serving as Director General of Operational Partnerships at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank since August 2022, Rodrigo previously held significant leadership roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, including Deputy Director and Senior Program Officer, from December 2012 to August 2022. Experience also includes a position as Principal Resources Mobilization Officer at the African Development Bank from June 2010 to December 2012, and a Policy Analyst role at the Center for International Development at Harvard University. Rodrigo commenced a career at the African Development Bank as Assistant to the Advisor in Finance and later worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica. Rodrigo's educational background encompasses advanced degrees from Harvard Kennedy School, CEMFI, and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, complemented by a strong foundation in economics and finance.
