Jeffrey Hiday currently serves as the Director General of Communications at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a role held since March 2024, focusing on enhancing global awareness of the bank's mission to promote green and technology-enabled infrastructure investments. Prior to AIIB, Jeffrey was the Director of the Office of Media Relations at RAND from 2008 to March 2024, where responsibilities included managing media relations and strategic planning. Previous experience includes serving as Director General for External Relations at the Asian Development Bank, Head of Media Relations and Advisor to the President at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and various reporting roles at The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires, The Providence Journal, and Dallas Times Herald. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a candidate for an MBA in Marketing at the University of Rhode Island.
