Srimayi Rao has worked in the field of mental health since 2006. Srimayi began their career as a Psychology Intern at the Chicago Department of Public Health. In 2007, they moved to Heartland Alliance, where they worked as a Senior Licensed Clinical Counselor. In 2015, they joined Asian Human Services, Inc. as an Integrated Behavioral Health Counselor, where they assisted in managing the integrated behavioral mental health project, developed and maintained policies and procedures for the behavioral health department, and provided consultative behavioral health services. In 2022, they became the Integrated Behavioral Health Manager at AHS Family Health Center.
Srimayi Rao completed their Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Osmania University in India from 1999 to 2001. Srimayi then went on to receive a Diploma in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Institution of Behavioral Managment, IBMS in 2004. Finally, they obtained their Masters in Clinical Psychology from Illinois Institute of Professional Psychology, Argosy University in 2007.
