Akshay Mathur is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy, digital economy, and international relations. Currently serving as the Senior Director at the Asia Society Policy Institute in India since January 2024, Akshay also holds the position of Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, focusing on the intersections of technology and governance. Previous roles include Director at the Observer Research Foundation, where leadership in geoeconomics was demonstrated, and participation in a high-level taskforce on the Indo-Pacific at VIF India. Akshay has authored significant reports for the Indian government and led research initiatives at Gateway House, contributing to discourse on foreign policy and business.
