Jeff Borman has a diverse background in the hospitality industry, starting with their work at Marriott International in hotel operations management and revenue management roles from 1997 to 2003. Jeff then served as the Director of Market Strategy and Director of eCommerce Pricing & Analysis, where they were responsible for revenue strategy, budgeting, and sales analysis.
In 2010, Borman joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as the Regional Director of Revenue Management for luxury brands in the Asia Pacific region. Jeff was accountable for managing revenue generation for high-profile properties in China, Korea, Japan, and other countries.
Borman returned to Marriott International in 2012 as the Regional Director of Revenue Management for select service and extended stay brands. Jeff successfully led a turnaround for several brands and implemented risk identification and problem-solving strategies.
At Marriott International, Borman progressed to become the VP of Revenue Management Operations for full-service and luxury brands in the Americas East region. Jeff focused on improving efficiency and productivity through leadership techniques and automation.
After their tenure at Marriott, Borman joined Hilton as the VP of Revenue Management, Franchise. Jeff oversaw revenue performance for over 4,700 franchisee hotels and managed a team of 450+ members.
In 2019, Borman joined Park Hotels & Resorts as the VP of Asset Management. However, their role with the company was short-lived.
Most recently, Borman became the Founder & Host of No Show, a travel industry podcast. Jeff also established travelINNsights, an advisory service catering to investors in the hospitality industry.
Jeff Borman obtained a mMBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Miami University in 2021. Jeff previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in French at Miami University from 1993 to 1997. In 1996, they also studied Economics at the Dolobois European Center in Luxembourg. Jeff graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1992. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Digital Advertisement and Social Media Marketing from HubSpot in January 2021. In February 2019, they completed a Course & Examination from the Court of Master Sommeliers, and in January 2018, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from the Six Sigma Academy.
