Christine Xu, CPA, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Financial Reporting at Ashford Hospitality Trust since November 2015. Prior to this role, Christine held the position of SEC Reporting Manager at Affirmative Insurance from December 2014 to November 2015 and worked as an Audit Manager at BDO USA, LLP for six years, managing diverse audit engagements and demonstrating strong knowledge in GAAP and SEC regulations. Earlier career roles include Senior Accountant at Fossil, Accounting Manager at GTESS Corporation, and Experienced Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where expertise in internal controls and financial statement audits was developed. Christine earned an MBA in Finance from Bowling Green State University between 2000 and 2003.
