Simon Worthington is an experienced Economic Development Manager at Ashburton District Council, having held the position since May 2021 and leading a team focused on business growth and community wellbeing. Concurrently, Simon serves as a Director for both Fishing 24/7 and Three Limited, positions held since April and January 2021, respectively. Simon has a significant history in leadership roles, including a tenure as Director at Research First from 2013 to 2020, and as a Board Member for Code Club Aotearoa from 2016 to 2018, contributing to youth coding initiatives. Other notable positions include Trustee at Catapult Employment Services Trust and Adjunct Research Fellow at AERU, Lincoln University.
