Giulio Pizzigoni

Head Of Cryogenic Department at ASG Superconductors S.p.A.

Giulio Pizzigoni has a work experience starting from 2013, where they worked as a PhD student at the University of Genoa specializing in Nanotechnology until 2015. In 2016, they joined SEGULA Technologies as a Project and Analyst at ASG Superconductors until 2018. Since 2018, they have been employed by ASG Superconductors S.p.A., initially working as a Field Service Engineer until 2022, and then becoming the Head of the Cryogenic Department.

Giulio Pizzigoni completed their educational journey with a Doctorate in Nanotechnology in 2015 from the University of Genoa. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Nuclear Physics, being awarded the title of "Dottore in Fisica" from the Università degli Studi di Genova/University of Genoa. Giulio had pursued their interest in Physics even earlier, completing their Bachelor's degree, "Laurea Triennale in Fisica", in General Physics from Università degli Studi di Genova in 2009. Before their university studies, Giulio attended the "Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale Galileo Ferraris" where they acquired a technical-industrial diploma, specializing in Electrical Engineering and Automation as a "Perito Industriale Capotecnico."
