David Pangburn currently serves as Corporate Controller at Asetek, a position held since 2012. Prior to this role, David was VP of Finance at Nanometrics, Inc. from 2011 to 2012 and Corporate Controller at PGP Corporation from 2008 until its acquisition by Symantec in 2010. David also held the title of Sr. Director of Finance at BEA Systems, which was acquired by Oracle in 2008, and served as Sr. Controller at Symantec Corporation from 2002 to 2006. Earlier experience includes roles as VP Corporate Controller at Metricom, Inc., Corporate Finance Manager/JavaSoft Finance Manager at Sun Microsystems, Inc., and Audit/Consulting Manager at Ernst & Young. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, after a year at UC Santa Barbara.
