Carolyn Lawrence, SCOR-P, has extensive work experience in supply chain management and corporate development. Carolyn started their career as a Manufacturing Specialist at the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership in 1994, where they conducted manufacturing assessments and managed projects for manufacturers in the region. In 1993, they served as a Materials Manager at Cooper Hand Tools, where they were responsible for planning and scheduling manufacturing operations.
In 2004, Carolyn established Agile Strategies LLC, a consulting and training firm specializing in supply chain management and operations improvement strategies. As the President/Owner, they customized solutions for clients, designed analytical tools to identify wasteful practices, and led successful teams.
Carolyn also held roles at various supply chain organizations, such as the APICS Supply Chain Council and the Association for Supply Chain Management. At these organizations, they served as a Global Member Services Director and Director of Corporate Development, respectively. In these roles, they promoted membership benefits, developed corporate relationships, and positioned product portfolios to meet the needs of partner corporations.
Throughout their career, Carolyn has demonstrated expertise in supply chain performance benchmarking, corporate engagement, and strategic research. Carolyn is skilled in assessing customer requirements, delivering comprehensive solutions, and driving value for both corporations and organizations.
Carolyn Lawrence, SCOR-P, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida in the years 1980-1984. In addition to their Bachelor's degree, they have attained various certifications including SCOR-P from APICS in 2015, Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2020, ASCM Supply Chain Procurement Certificate from the Association for Supply Chain Management in 2022, and Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education (obtained in 2023).
