Carlos Monteiro is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Coordinator for the Screening & Synthesis Laboratory at ASCENZA Portugal since December 2018. Prior to this role, Carlos held various positions including Screening and Synthesis Laboratory Team Leader, Synthesis Laboratory Specialist, and Chemist at the Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa from November 2010 to November 2019. Carlos holds a Licentiate degree in Chemistry from the University of Évora and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry - Organic Chemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon.
