John Stanley has over two decades of experience in software development and data architecture, currently serving as Senior Architect of Software Development at Ascent Global Logistics since January 2003. In this role, John leads the technical development of an event-driven, cloud-based, scalable microservice-based transportation management system (TMS). Previous positions at Ascent include Data Architect III and II, where John focused on designing and implementing data warehouse ETL solutions and executing database migrations, along with developing extensive SQL procedures and schemas. John's career began as a developer with positions at The Echo Group, Stewart Enterprises, and Computel Computer Systems, where foundational skills in ColdFusion and SQL were established. Educational background includes studies at Southeast College of Technology, Oakland Community College, Broward College, and Delgado Community College.
