Robert Flaig is an experienced professional in the aerospace and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Site General Manager at Ascent Aerospace since April 2016, overseeing the Gemcor facility's financial performance, sales, operations, engineering, and manufacturing. Previously, Robert held various engineering and management roles, including Director of Continuous Improvement at Ascent Aerospace, Senior Project Engineer at GEMCOR AUTOMATION, LLC, and Director of Engineering at Koike Aronson, Inc. Robert has a robust background in managing multi-million dollar capital projects, product development, and operational improvements, with significant experience in the design and automation of systems for the aerospace industry. Robert obtained an MBA from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
