Eric Yuen is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. As the Co-founder and Chief Medical Advisor at Spirovant Sciences, Inc., Eric is focused on developing AAV and lentiviral gene therapies for cystic fibrosis. In addition, Eric serves as Chief Medical Officer at Nitrase Therapeutics and Abyssinia Biologics, and has been a Scientific Advisory Board member for Asceneuron SA since 2019, contributing to the development of compounds for neurological diseases. Previous roles include Chief Medical Officer at RiboNova and Inozyme Pharma, along with positions in clinical development at BioClin Therapeutics and Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical. Eric has also served as an independent consultant since 2013 for various companies in different stages of therapeutic development, addressing a wide range of diseases. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Biology from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
