Thomas Lamotte has worked in the aeronautical engineering industry since 2008. Thomas began their career with a 3rd year internship at ATR, followed by a 4th year research and development internship at the University of Birmingham. In 2010, they completed a 6-month internship at Safran Engineering Services as an engineering design bureau. Afterwards, they joined Assystem as an engineering design structure engineer, where they worked until 2015. During their time there, they were responsible for supporting the client in passing TRL2 and TRL3 maturities, defining constructive principles, and managing digital models. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Expleo Group as an airframe engineer, team leader, and aerostructure engineer. In their role as team leader, they implemented an AGILE framework to manage the team. In 2022, they joined Ascendance Flight Technologies as a senior airframe engineer.
Thomas Lamotte obtained their License 1 in Sciences De l'Ingénieur from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in 2004-2005. Thomas then pursued their Master 1 in Génie Mécanique Aéronautique from the same university from 2005-2008. Finally, they completed their Master 2 in Génie Mécanique from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse in 2008-2010.
