Scott Powers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical service and development within the plastics and polymer industry. Currently serving as Technical Service Manager at Ascend Performance Materials since March 2013, Scott previously held the role of Technical Development Manager at Trexel, where the focus was on commercializing the MuCell microcellular foam process. Additionally, Scott contributed to the development of PEEK polymers and composites at Victrex USA and held engineering and product development positions at Siemens Automotive. Scott's career also includes technical sales and service roles at BASF, where foundational expertise in engineering resins was established. Academically, Scott holds a Master's degree in Operations & Technology Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology and both a Bachelor's and an Associate's degree in Production Management and Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology from Ferris State University.
