Mitch Knight has over 25 years of experience in procurement and materials management, currently serving as the Senior Spend Manager for Indirect Materials at Ascend Performance Materials since October 2010. Prior roles at Ascend include Spend Manager for Indirect Materials and Site Buyer/Procurement Senior Analyst. Prior to this, Mitch owned The Twisted Leaf Tea Co. from November 2002 to December 2015, providing high-quality loose-leaf tea and fresh roasted coffee. Earlier experience includes working as a Stores Technician and Purchasing Technician at Solutia, where responsibilities included procurement of MRO materials and cost savings management. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Citadel, earned between 1987 and 1991.
