Sally Teng has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and professional development roles. Sally was the VP of Marketing and previously the Director of Marketing for Ascend IUB - Indiana University Chapter. At Whirlpool Corporation, they worked as a Sales Intern. In the Chinese Business Association (CBA) - Indiana University, they held the position of Director of Professional Development and Director of Marketing. For the Chinese Students Association at Indiana University (CSA at IU), Sally served as the Vice President of Marketing and also worked as the Assistant Director of the Marketing Department. Sally was a Social Media Marketing Intern at GAOTek Inc. and a Product Marketing Intern at EasyTransfer. Sally's earliest work experience was as a Marketing Intern at MYL Realty LLC.

Sally Teng obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Financial Management from the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, where they attended from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they studied Marketing and Business at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2020 to 2024. Sally received their High School Diploma from Plainfield High School in 2020 after completing their secondary education from 2013 to 2020.
