Omar Kaheel is a Data Scientist at Ascend Analytics, focusing on market forecasts for individual energy markets in the United States and internationally to support strategic investments. With experience as a Junior Fellow at the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association and data science internships at Perennial, Company Six, Hyde Renewables, NCAR, and Halp, Omar has developed tools for data analysis, automated reporting, and renewable energy portfolio simulations. Additionally, contributions as a Student Advisor at the University of Colorado Boulder have involved mentoring student founders in various entrepreneurial initiatives, while also participating in research on collaborative AI systems within the CAIRO lab. Omar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
