Alessandro Capucci has over 24 years of work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Alessandro is currently working as the CTO & Software Engineering at Aida46 Srl since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CTO-AI & Software Engineering at ASC 27 s.r.l. starting from February 2021. In 2020, Alessandro worked in the field of innovative software engineering. From 2013 to 2020, they held multiple roles at AREA, including Technical Project Manager, Technical Account Manager, and Software Engineer. Alessandro also served as the Research & Development Unit Manager at AT2 S.r.l. from 2010 to 2013, and at TotalWire S.r.l. from 2002 to 2010. Alessandro started their career as a Project Manager in 1998, working as a freelance computer services provider.

Alessandro Capucci completed their Laurea in Ingegneria Informatica (Degree in Computer Engineering) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Alessandro has also obtained several certifications in the field of technology and artificial intelligence. These certifications include a Cyber Security Program Certificate from Fòrema in October 2022, an Intelligenza Artificiale per l'imaging Multispettrale e Iperspettrale (Artificial Intelligence for Multispectral and Hyperspectral Imaging) certification from Fondazione E. Amaldi in January 2021, and various certifications from Coursera, including Feature Engineering, Introduction to TensorFlow, Launching into Machine Learning, How Google does Machine Learning, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Alessandro also obtained a certification called "Getting started with AI on Jetson NANO" from NVIDIA in December 2020.
