Nick Winfrey has a diverse and extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Nick is currently the Chief Operations Officer at ASB Energy Services, LLC since May 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Mortenson as a Senior Project Manager from March 2021 to May 2021. Nick also held various project management positions at Mortenson, including Project Manager II - Power Delivery Solutions from September 2019 to March 2021, Project Manager - Power Delivery Solutions from March 2018 to September 2019, and Assistant Project Manager - Power Delivery Solutions from April 2016 to March 2018.

Before Mortenson, Nick Winfrey worked at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. as an Assistant Project Manager from June 2013 to April 2016. In this role, they were responsible for preparing and reviewing contract technical specifications, coordinating field project work, and monitoring site progress.

Prior to that, they served as a Wind & Solar Quality Control Manager at RMT from August 2009 to January 2013. Here, they managed construction environments for wind and solar projects and provided leadership and direction to a team of supervisors, inspectors, and laboratory workers. Nick also acted as a communication liaison between RMT Engineering and Operations staff.

Nick Winfrey started their career as a Wind Turbine Technician at Granite Services from November 2007 to August 2008. In this role, they troubleshooted and repaired mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions of wind turbines, conducted inspections, maintained and repaired equipment, and diagnosed problems related to wind turbine generators and control systems.

Nick Winfrey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Houston-Victoria, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including OSHA 30-Hour from ClickSafety in January 2018, NFPA 70E - 2012 Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace from 360training.com in September 2014, and First Aid/CPR/AED from Chappell Safety in September 2022.
