Kunal Sarda is currently the co-founder and CEO of Arya since January 2022. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they worked as an independent consultant and explorer. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Vice President of Customer Engagement at Smartling. Before that, they were the COO and co-founder of VerbalizeIt, a translation platform that was acquired by Smartling in 2016. Kunal also worked as a manager at Novo Nordisk A/S from 2011 to 2012, and as an engagement manager at IMS Health from 2007 to 2009. Kunal Sarda began their career as a senior analyst at marketRx in 2005.

Kunal Sarda began their education at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, where they completed their high school education from 1992 to 1998. Kunal then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at Dayalbagh Educational Institute from 1998 to 2002. Following this, Kunal attended Virginia Tech from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at The Wharton School from 2009 to 2011.
