Lacey Pyle has work experience starting from 2007 as a Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Earth Sciences at Rice University. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Jackson School of Geosciences. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Research Assistant at Rice University. Currently, since September 2019, they hold the position of Chief Soil Scientist and Data Scientist at Arva Intelligence.
Lacey Pyle holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Rice University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2018. Prior to their PhD, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin between 2010 and 2012. Lacey Pyle's undergraduate education took place at Rice University, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Earth Sciences from 2005 to 2009.
In addition to their academic degrees, Lacey Pyle has obtained several certifications. In February 2021, they became a Neo4j Certified Professional from Neo4j. Lacey also completed various courses on Coursera, including "Using Python to Access Web Data" in October 2018, "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" in July 2018, and "Python Data Structures" in July 2018.
