Genevieve Pont is a Senior Research Scientist in Genetics at ARUP Laboratories since October 2000 and has been a Small Business Owner at Solexity Gem Rox since November 2018, specializing in rockhounding activities. Additionally, Genevieve served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine from October 2011 to October 2018 and owned GPONT CONSULTING from September 2009 to September 2015, where a molecular assay for detecting infectious diseases in pearl oysters was developed. Genevieve's research background includes work as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Utah from October 1987 to October 2000.
