Christopher Barclay is an experienced operations leader and photographer with a diverse background in public service and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Arts on the Block since November 2018, Christopher also operates as a freelance photographer under Christopher Barclay Photography since December 2016. From 2006 to 2016, Christopher was a member of the Board of Education for Montgomery County Public Schools, holding the positions of President and Vice President across multiple terms. Prior experience includes project management at Verizon Business, where Christopher managed various interdependent projects, product management, and quality assurance test management. Christopher began a career in public service as a Legislative Aide at Rainbow Lobby, facilitating legislative activities related to international affairs. Christopher holds a BA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago, with prior education at Oberlin College.
