Jay Peterson is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in orthopedic care and medical education. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Specialist in the Medical Education department at Arthrex since July 2020, Jay has previously held roles such as Physician Assistant at Murphy Wainer Orthopedic Specialists and Wake Forest Baptist Health. In academia, Jay contributed as an Associate Professor and Assistant Program Director for the PA Education Program at High Point University and as an Assistant Professor at The University of Toledo. Additionally, Jay was the founding Program Director for the PA Education Program at Eastern Michigan University. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Detroit Mercy.
