Marc Nason, EFO has extensive work experience in the field of fire and emergency services. Marc started their career in 1995 as a Paramedic at American Medical Response. Marc then worked at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus as an EMS Clinical Coordinator from 1999 to 2004. Marc then joined the Roswell Fire Department as a Driver Operator-Paramedic from 2004 to 2010. During this time, they also served as an Interim Program Director-EMS/Fire Education at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus from 2014 to 2015. Marc has been with the Artesia Fire Department since 2010, where they held various positions including Captain/Battalion Chief-Paramedic from 2010 to 2016, Division Chief-Operations/EMS from 2016 to 2019, and currently holds the position of Deputy Fire Chief.
Marc Nason, EFO is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from the American Public University System. Marc has completed the Bob Ramsey Executive Education program at Arizona State University, where they obtained the Certified Public Manager designation. Marc also attended Texas A&M University's Mays Business School, specializing in Fire Service Chief Executive Officer studies. Marc earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) degree in Fire Protection / Emergency Medical Services from Eastern New Mexico University. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Emergency Medical Services from Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus. Between 2014 and 2018, Marc completed the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy.
