Mervyn Wee has held various roles in different companies. Mervyn started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Fellow Robots in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Frontend Developer at the Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) until 2020. At CSIT, they contributed to frontend development projects. From 2020 to 2021, Mervyn worked at GovTech Singapore as a Full Stack Developer, where they developed a financial planning web application. In 2021, they joined TikTok as a Frontend Developer, and in 2022, they joined Arta Finance (formerly Arbo Works) as a Software Engineer.

Mervyn Wee completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore from 2013 to 2017.
