Hugh De Burgh currently serves as the Head of AI and Machine Learning at Art of Smart Education, where Hugh collaborates with CEO Rowan Kunz to launch 'Artie', Australia's first free AI English tutor for high school students. Prior to this role, Hugh held positions at Maia Technology, where Hugh led innovation efforts for a flagship product aimed at sustainable agricultural practices, and at Object Consulting Pty. Ltd., where Hugh worked on various projects, including virtual fencing technology and secure document management systems. Hugh's extensive experience includes roles as R&D Manager at ComsecTR, Technical Architect at World School and Syscorp, and consulting positions at OOPL in both Singapore and Sydney, focusing on large-scale projects for major organizations like Telstra and Vodafone. Academically, Hugh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Sydney.
