May Ardekani Rouhani serves as the Senior Manager of Philanthropy at the Art Gallery of Ontario since January 2022. Previously, May held the position of Director of Partnerships at Engineers Without Borders Canada, where responsibilities included managing multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns and guiding the Partnerships team to achieve financial and operational goals. May also served as Associate Director at Engineers Without Borders Canada, successfully launching multi-channel fundraising campaigns, and was a Senior Development Officer at The Walrus, focusing on securing major gifts. Earlier experience includes roles as a Stewardship Coordinator at TVO and Donor and Member Relations Coordinator at the Toronto International Film Festival. May holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Art History from Queen's University, an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from George Brown College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Culture Studies from the University of Havana.
