Andrew Strachan is an experienced event management professional currently serving as GM of Fairs & Exhibition Platforms at Art Basel since November 2011, where responsibilities include co-leading the team for the Global Event Portfolio across major cities and advising on strategic initiatives. Andrew previously held roles such as General Manager Asia, leading Art Basel's business development in Asia and successfully launching Art Basel Hong Kong. Prior experiences include ownership of Astra Consulting BV, Expedition Director for the Home Expedition, and leadership positions at Brand Events, Quintus Asia Pacific, and Association FISE. Andrew's educational background includes advanced coaching diplomas from The Institute of Leadership & Management, International Business Studies from IDRAC Business School, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the West of England.
