Lina Leon is a Senior Scientist at ArsenalBio, with a background in high-throughput CRISPR screening in T cells. Previously, Lina worked as a Scientist at Andes Ag, focusing on genome engineering for environmental microbial strains. Lina also has experience as a CRISPR-Cas Biologist and developer at UCSF, where Lina studied CRISPR-Cas systems and bacterial immune systems. During their academic journey, Lina conducted research at various institutions, including the University of Florida and The Scripps Research Institute, in areas such as vaccinia viruses, ribosomal assembly, autophagy in cancer models, and genetic engineering technologies. Lina holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in CRISPR technologies, microbiology, and biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco.
