Jianying L. has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology. They are currently working as a Senior Scientist II at ArsenalBio, starting in July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc as a Research Scientist from February 2020 to July 2021, and as a Research Specialist II from July 2017 to February 2020. Before joining Eureka Therapeutics, Inc, Jianying L. worked at ALSTEM, LLC as a Scientist from October 2015 to May 2017, and as an Associate Scientist from October 2014 to October 2015. Their earliest work experience was as an Associate Scientist at Quintara Biosciences from July 2013 to October 2014.

Jianying L. pursued their academic journey in the field of bioengineering, beginning with their Bachelor's degree from Northeast Forestry University, which they earned between the years 2002 and 2006. Encouraged by their passion for biological processes, they then enrolled at the Chinese Academy of Sciences for a doctoral program in Molecular and Developmental Biology, spanning from 2006 to 2013.
