Taco Viets is an experienced professional in petroleum engineering, currently serving as the Development Planning Lead at Arrow Energy since July 2013, focusing on the Development Planning of Coal Seam Gas resources in the Surat basin. Prior to this role, Taco Viets held various senior reservoir engineering positions at Shell from March 1992 to June 2013, including governance of joint ventures and involvement in multiple development projects such as Ormen Lange and HPHT teams. Earlier career experiences include positions at Petroleum Development Oman and NAM BV Assen, along with a foundation as a Graduate Engineer at Shell shortly after completing a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 1986.
