Jason Schaffner's work experience starts in 2000 when they worked as an Application Developer at Positive Developments, where they were responsible for creating and developing technology solutions for clients. Jason then worked at Bank of America as a Technical Analyst III, providing incident management support for the enterprise loan origination system. Jason also served as a Supervisor for a team of 11 associates at Bank of America.

In 2008, they worked as an IT Contractor at Capital Group and later as a Systems Analyst at Synermed, where they contributed to the development of healthcare management software applications.

From 2010 to 2014, Jason returned to Bank of America as an Application Programmer before joining IMS Health in 2014 as a Senior Database Developer, supporting a custom software application for computing incentive compensation payouts and reporting pharmaceutical sales data.

In 2015, they joined Health Choice Management Company as an Application Developer III, leading database development activities and focusing on ETL processes for claim and membership data.

Jason'smost recent work experience has been at arrivia, where they have held multiple roles since 2017. These roles include Lead Software Engineer, Senior Manager, and their current position as Director of Software Engineering.
