Augusto Molina has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Augusto began their career in 1992 as a Senior Credit Analyst at Banco Promotor del Norte/Valores Bursatiles de Mexico, where they played a crucial role in obtaining the banking license and implementing the Credit Manual. From 1998 to 2004, they worked as a Corporate Banker at Citi, managing relationships with corporate and middle market companies and coordinating various bank functions. At GE Capital from 2004 to 2006, Augusto served as a Sales Manager, specializing in asset-based lending for medium-sized companies.
Following their time at GE Capital, they joined Scotiabank as a Director of Real Estate & Infrastructure, overseeing banking relationships and structuring loans for real estate and infrastructure projects. In 2011, they moved to Credito Real as Director Pymes, where they launched a new business line for small business loans and facilitated the company's inorganic growth through investment and acquisition of financial companies.
In 2016, Augusto assumed the roles of Board Member and CEO at Unaferia, a company that provides loans to small businesses. Augusto was responsible for establishing the business, including partnering with stakeholders and managing sales, credit, and operations divisions. Augusto then joined Bien para Bien in 2018 as the CFO, where they were in charge of all financial aspects of the company, including funding, treasury, accounting, financial planning, and risk management.
In 2021, they joined CFI IngenierÃa Financiera as a Senior Consultant, specializing in non-bank and fintech sectors, advising on financial functions, regulations, accounting, and operational improvements. Currently, Augusto serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Arrenda, a position they have held since July 2022.

Augusto Molina completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Economics from the University of Warwick in 1996-1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Licenciatura degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where they studied from 1989 to 1995.
Molina also attended Green Hills for their high school education, from 1982 to 1988. Before that, they completed their elementary education at the American School from 1976 to 1982.
In addition to their formal education, Molina has obtained several certifications.
