Allan Litchfield has worked in the software industry since 1989. Theirfirst role was as a Programmer at Home Vision. Allan then moved to Brown Brothers Harriman in 1991 as a Senior Programmer. In 1994, they were a Project Leader at Scudder, Stevens & Clark. In 1996, they were a Principal Engineer at Brooktrout Software. In 1998, they were a System Architect at Commerce-tv. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Senior Consultant at FM Global. Since 2003, they have been a Principal Software Architect at ArrayWorks, Inc., where their responsibilities include software design, development and troubleshooting. Theirareas of expertise include multi-threaded Windows service design and development, web services design and development (WCF), REST, electronic document signature integration, and web development (ASP).

Allan Litchfield attended Bridgewater State University from 1985 to 1989, studying Computer Science.
