Aqeel has a diverse range of work experience, with a focus on accounting and finance roles. They began their career as an intern in the Financial Investment Department at Askari Bank in 2009. From 2011 to 2013, Aqeel worked as a Junior Financial Analyst at Syfaa Textiles Pvt Ltd, where they created financial models and assisted with budget preparation. In 2014, Aqeel volunteered in the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program at the Canada Revenue Agency. They then worked as an Accountant at True Plans, Canada, where they prepared management accounts and financial statements. Aqeel also had experience as a Finance Associate at the MukiBaum Foundation, handling trial balances and bank reconciliations. They then moved to Mac's Convenience Stores Inc. as an Accounting Analyst, responsible for inventory reporting and variance analysis. Aqeel's most recent role was as a Reporting Analyst at Array Marketing. Throughout their career, Aqeel has consistently demonstrated strong financial and analytical skills. Currently, Aqeel is pursuing a CPA alongside their MBA studies.

Aqeel's education history begins with their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Hamdard University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology between 2010 and 2011. Aqeel further expanded their knowledge and skills by completing a Master of E-Business Technologies (Business Management) degree at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Aqeel has also obtained an Advance Excel Certification from RISA Pakistan. Currently, they are pursuing their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
