Josh Frye has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Josh began their career in 1996 as a Junior Estimator at Impact Displays, where they obtained pricing for outsourced materials and assembly. Josh later became a Project Manager at the same company, responsible for purchasing outsourced materials, coordinating assembly for custom display projects, and overseeing on-site supervision and quality inspection during assembly.
In 1999, Josh joined HMG Worldwide Marketing as a Senior Project Manager. Josh played a leading role in the pre-production development phase of new business development, managing a team of engineers, designers, outsourced vendors, and project managers. Josh also collaborated with account executives to provide sales support.
Josh then moved to RTC in 2003, where they worked as a Project Manager. Josh maintained a strong client relationship during the company's troubled relocation and oversaw account forecasting, P&L, and budgeting. Josh later became a Project Manager at the same company, where they coordinated and executed the Urban color cosmetic wall system for a national rollout of 25,000 stores. Josh managed a team responsible for design engineering, manufacturing engineering, prototype development, customer service, purchasing, production planning, and shipping of Urban Walls and seasonal updates.
From 2006 to 2012, Josh worked at DCI-Artform. Josh initially served as the Director of Client Services, working as a key account manager for the Maybelline account and helping to launch the US cosmetic business. Josh then became the Director of Operations - US cosmetics Segment, where they managed the set-up and daily operations of a plastic fabrication and assembly facility. Josh supervised direct reports across various disciplines of the project cycle, oversaw project P&L, ensured on-time delivery, provided office IT support, and managed account management for brands L'Oreal Canada and Stila Cosmetics.
In 2012, Josh was promoted to Senior Sales Executive at DCI-Artform, The DCI Marketing Group. In this role, they developed and launched permanent custom innovative retail marketing solutions for brands such as Maybelline, Revlon, NYX, Kiehls, and L'Oreal Paris. Josh delivered innovative solutions based on insight-driven design, using a wide range of mixed materials and technologies to drive specific behavior with measurable ROI. Josh also provided strategic direction for the US sales pipeline and cosmetics P&L.
Most recently, Josh worked at Array Marketing as an Account Executive and later as the Account Director of New Business Development. In these roles, they generated a new book of business through strategic and research-driven cold calling, networking, and business relationship referrals. Josh leveraged innovation and expertise to attract new clients from adjacent business sectors.
