Kevin Yu has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Kevin is currently working at Arranta Bio as a Scientist II, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Scientist I Analytical Development at Arranta Bio, starting in October 2021.
Before joining Arranta Bio, Kevin worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital, starting in September 2020. In this role, they conducted research on genetic knockout mice and examined the impact of aquaporin water channels and focal adhesion kinase genetic knockout on kidney physiology.
Kevin also has experience as a Graduate Student at the University of Florida, where they managed experimentation and surgical procedures on large animals, designed experiments to investigate the sterility of the fetus, and improved DNA purification methods. Kevin started this role in June 2016 and completed it in September 2020.
Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, starting in August 2012 and ending in May 2015. In this role, they conducted research on the mechanism of β Clamp opening and closing in E. coli.
Finally, Kevin volunteered at UF Health from January 2013 to December 2013.
Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated a strong foundation in scientific research and experimentation, with a focus on genetics and molecular biology.
