Catherine Ince, hon FRIBA, has an extensive work experience in the field of arts and culture. Catherine is currently serving as the Director of Exhibitions and Programme at ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Curator at V&A East from November 2015 to January 2023. Catherine also worked as a Curator at Barbican Art Gallery from January 2010 to October 2015. Catherine's previous roles also include serving as a Curator and Acting Director of Architecture, Design, and Fashion Department at the British Council from 2005 to 2009, and as a Curator of Contemporary Programmes at V&A in 2004 and 2005.
Catherine Ince, hon FRIBA, pursued their education in the field of arts and design. From 1995 to 1998, they attended Sheffield Hallam University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of Art, Design, and Film. Continuing their academic journey, Ince enrolled in Kingston University from 2002 to 2003, where they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree program in Curating Contemporary Design.
