Matthew Rygus has extensive work experience in various roles related to environmental sustainability and analysis. Matthew began their career as a Creative Writer/Editor at Matthew Rygus and later worked as an Environmental Field and Research Worker at the University of Calgary. Matthew has also held positions as a Sustainability Analyst and Project Coordinator at QM Environmental and as an Emissions Analyst at Arolytics. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a Fellow at Student Energy, an Environmental Specialist Co-op Student at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), an Environment Student at IOGC, a Public Programming Assistant at Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation, and a Waste Diversion Education Assistant at the City of Airdrie. Their work experience spans from 2014 to the present.
Matthew Rygus has a Master of Environmental Studies (MES) degree in Sustainability Management from the University of Waterloo. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Calgary. In addition to their formal education, Matthew Rygus is enrolled in the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) in Training program offered by the Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET) and the Certified Environmental Professional in Training (CEP-IT) program offered by ECO Canada.
