Ashley Thompkins, M.S.W. has a diverse range of work experience. Ashley has served as a Therapist at Mental Health America since 2022. Prior to that, Ashley was the Director of Family Outreach at Arms of Hope, where they were responsible for leadership, staffing, organizing, and budgeting. Ashley has also worked as a Unit Supply Specialist in the United States Army Reserve, where they led a team and maintained accountability of supplies and equipment. Ashley has experience as an Investigator at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where they managed cases and participated in court actions. Ashley has also worked as an Online English Teacher for DaDaABC, an Admissions Representative for Martinsburg College, and a Patient Service Representative Team Lead at TriWest Healthcare Alliance. Throughout their various roles, Ashley has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ashley Thompkins, M.S.W. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University from 2016 to 2018. Then, from 2017 to 2018, Ashley pursued another Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. Following that, they completed a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University from 2019 to 2020. Ashley continued their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Texas Wesleyan University in 2021. Currently, starting in 2022, Ashley is enrolled at Loma Linda University, working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Behavioral Sciences.
