Beverly Berkowitz, LCSW, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Arms Acres since May 2017, overseeing operations at a freestanding Behavioral Health Hospital. With extensive experience in human resources, Beverly previously held the same position at Interim HealthCare Inc. and has a longstanding history with Arms Acres, where Beverly first worked as a Clinical Case Manager before transitioning to a Director role. In addition to this, Beverly has been self-employed since January 2010 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing as an EAGALA certified practitioner providing equine assisted psychotherapy and counseling on issues such as substance abuse, emotional struggles, depression, anxiety, and family dynamics. Educational credentials include a degree from Cornell University of Industrial and Labor Relations and a Master's from Fordham University School of Social Work.
