Rabbi Foster E. Kawaler, Retired DD, MA, LMHC, MCAP, is an accomplished mental health and spiritual counselor with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Since retiring in August 2017, Rabbi Kawaler has worked as a Rabbi At Large, providing spiritual and mental health support, including addictions counseling and life cycle events at the Chabad Naples Jewish Center. Prior roles include working as a Mental Health Professional at Armor Correctional Health Services, an Addictions Professional at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, and a Trauma Counselor at Project HELP. Rabbi Kawaler holds a MA in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University, Rabbinic ordination from Tifereth Yisrael Yeshiva, and has a background in financial management from New York Institute of Technology. With a solid foundation in both spiritual and psychological counseling, Rabbi Kawaler has served diverse populations, including inmates and crime victims, throughout a distinguished career spanning over four decades.
