Anton Kachatkou is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Director of Engineering and Principal Software Engineer at Arm since May 2016. Anton leads a multi-site team focused on developing open source and proprietary tools for IP evaluation, optimizing machine learning algorithms for Arm hardware, and contributing to Google TensorFlow projects. Prior to this, Anton worked at Apical Limited, specializing in embedded software for computer vision applications, and at the University of Manchester as a Research Associate involved in software and hardware design for imaging systems. Anton's career also includes software engineering roles at SysProg and OJSC "AGAT - Control Systems," with experience in image processing, signal processing, and control software design. Anton holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester and a degree in Radiophysics and Electronics from Belarusian State University.
