Eleanor Richardson is a dedicated professional in youth services with extensive experience in educational outreach and literacy programs. Currently serving as a Youth Services Outreach Specialist at Arlington Heights Memorial Library since June 2021, Eleanor previously held the position of Operations Manager at Junior Achievement of Chicago, where relationship cultivation with over 20 elementary schools facilitated financial literacy education for 14,000 students. As a Literacy Tutor with Jumpstart, Eleanor instructed preschoolers and managed a team of educators in lesson planning and performance evaluation. Additionally, Eleanor contributed as a Research Assistant with Thirty Million Words, focusing on parental speech patterns in early childhood development research. Eleanor holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago.
