Joseph Cashwell is an accomplished freelance photographer with extensive experience since February 2012 at Arlington Catholic Herald, providing photojournalistic coverage for the Arlington Catholic Diocese, including major religious events and sports. As the owner of Haymarket Joe Photography since October 2007, Joseph manages all aspects of the photography business. Previously, Joseph had a long tenure at Freddie Mac, retiring in November 2018, and served as a Program Manager in the Competitions Division at the National Rifle Association from April 1990 to August 1996, where contributions included developing the Black Powder competition program. Joseph holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Photography from Northern Virginia Community College.
