How you'll make a difference:

The Market President is responsible for maximizing the organization’s operating performance to achieve regional financial and strategic goals. Reporting to the President, the Market President is responsible for ensuring all departments and programs offered within the state of Arizona are fully compliant with the proper implementation of approved policies, procedures, and protocols - internally and externally. The Market President is additionally responsible for local budget oversight and contributing to regional revenue growth through strategic events, relationship building, and collaboration. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics and business intelligence strategies to support our value-based care population health initiatives
  • Responsible for regional implementation of the Population Health Division of Arkos Health Arizona for Strategic Plans
  • Oversight and development in Payer Programs, Remote Patient, Development Telehealth Services to provider groups ensuring optimal ongoing performance
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Quality and Performance to ensure the annual goals are achieved with health plan(s) in the Arizona market for STARS
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure the annual goals are achieved with health plan(s) in the market for Risk Adjustment
  • Responsible for the analysis & implementation of effective / efficient process, policy, & procedure in conjunction with executive leadership team for the market
  • Collaborative oversight and management of resources to ensure consistent operational performance, including but not limited to staffing, information systems, asset & data management for the market
  • Ensure that all contracts are provided to the designee for signature by the Arkos Health CEO
  • Collaborative development and ongoing oversight of market operating budget
  • Maintain membership thresholds through consistent marketing and relationship building in the Arizona market
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with key providers and group practices within Arizona market
  • Secure new provider/vendor relationships to increase revenue within the Arizona market
  • Attend all internal and external meetings as requested timely
  • Provide all reports to designee(s) timely
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA or MHA required.

  • 5-10+ years in Medicare and Medicaid-oriented population healthcare environments, preferred

  • Strong understanding of healthcare business operations

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a small team of professionals

  • Must be able to interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional manner with a strong commitment to positively representing the company.
