Katrin Mauß

Head of Food Science at Arkeon

Katrin Mauß has over 8 years of work experience in the food science and application technology field. Katrin currently holds the position of Head of Food Science & Application Technology at Arkeon, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Food Science at Arkeon from March 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Arkeon, Katrin worked at Givaudan Austria GmbH for 7 years, where they held various roles in the field of application technology. From April 2020 to February 2022, they worked as an Application Technologist Savoury & Snacks. Prior to this, they served as an Application Assistant Savoury & Snacks from October 2018 to April 2020, and as a Laboratory Assistant Beverages from September 2014 to September 2018.

Katrin Mauß completed their education at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). From 2012 to 2016, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Lebensmittel- und Biotechnologie (Food- and Biotechnology). Katrin then continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Lebensmittelwissenschaft und -technologie (Food Science and Technology) from 2016 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Katrin Mauß also obtained a certification in Industrial Biotechnology from edX. Katrin received the edX Verifiziertes Zertifikat in November 2021.
